The largest subsidiary in the TWP group, TWP Projects is the foremost mining industry EPCM service provider in southern Africa. Based in Johannesburg, TWP Projects comprises four key divisions: Mining, Process, Energy and Infrastructure, with regional offices in Rustenburg and Polokwane in South Africa, and in Kitwe, Zambia. In line with TWP’s strategy to grow as a global player, TWP also has a presence in Australia and Peru. These main divisions and offices are supported by qualified professional engineers with expertise in areas such as civil and structural engineering, electrical engineering, control and instrumentation, mechanical engineering, process engineering, mining engineering, project management, project support services, safety and health management, environmental management, risk management and quality management.  

TWP Projects’ process division offers its clients a unique process and engineering capability focused on mineral processing plants, base and precious metal refinery projects, and chemical and water treatment plants. 

With energy poised to become in critical demand in the global arena, TWP Energy is establishing a track record as a provider of both conventional and alternative power solutions. In addition to providing solutions to clients, TWP Energy is active in the build, own and operate sector of the power generation industry.

TWP Infrastructure focuses on providing infrastructure-related services to all sectors of the built environment. Having gained years of experience providing infrastructure services to the mining and minerals industry, this new division has the expertise to provide infrastructural services and facilities from conceptual study to final execution.

TWP’s wholly-owned subsidiary TPS.P Architects extends its architectural design expertise into commercial, retail and industrial sectors across the African continent.

In December 2009, TWP merged with construction company Basil Read, creating a force to be reckoned with in the EPC arena. By combining TWP’s design and project management abilities and Basil Read’s construction capability, the group is able to offer a turnkey solution including full design, project management and construct service over virtually the entire spectrum of engineering.
